Frequently Asked Questions

Mainspring Senior Living solves problems. We understand that every community, every location, every resident, and every staff member, is unique. Our management plans are customized to each situation, even at communities that were previously troubled by mismanagement.
By prioritizing our residents above all, our teams build vibrant and successful senior communities, even within those that were previously mismanaged and troubled. Everything we do is built around helping residents feel at home, feel dignified, and feel valued.
-
Our communities provide thoughtfully designed living options, each supporting independence at every stage. Clinical assessments help determine the right living situation for each resident at move-in and as the level of required assistance changes.
Independent Living: Enjoy maintenance-free living with dining, housekeeping, wellness programs, and a calendar of events.
Assisted Living: Just the right amount of daily support with activities of daily life, offered with dignity and respect.
Memory Care: A secure, comforting environment with compassionate, specialized care for residents living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.
Respite: Temporary stays, starting with a minimum two-week period, which can accommodate family caregiving needs or a trial residency.
Each community is different, and some communities may not offer all levels. For more information on each level of assistance, and which levels are offered at a specific location, please contact us!

We believe that dining programs should offer more than meal service and sustenance. Community dining spaces are warm and inviting, transforming meals into a social activity among neighbors and friends.
Our culinary teams create menus in consultation with certified nutritionists, to offer a variety of seasonal and nutritious options. Our activity and event calendars often include a food and beverage aspect, to emphasize the importance of both physical health and social wellness.
-
Pricing depends on community location, apartment selection, and level of support needed. Monthly rental rates typically include resident meals, utilities, housekeeping, activities, and transportation.
Assisted Living and Memory Care also include individualized care plans, and some communities may offer an all-inclusive rate. In most individual cases, the cost of assisted living and memory care is significantly less than a nursing home.
Our team is here to walk you through options and help you find the best fit for every budget, lifestyle, and location.

We believe families are essential partners in care. Residents who wish to keep a family member informed of their wellness can designate a family member to receive updates through their preferred method (phone, email, or in-person check-ins).
Our care teams proactively communicate about changes in health, behavior, medication, and adverse events. Families are always welcome to attend care-plan meetings and ask questions at any time. Proactive communication is highly valued.
-
Most of our communities are designed to support changing needs. As care requirements grow, we work with residents and their families to adjust the level of assistance through an updated care plan, which may include transition to a higher level of support such as Assisted Living or Memory Care.
We handle transitions with sensitivity, planning, and clear communication to minimize stress for both residents and families.
-
Absolutely! Family involvement enhances the mental health, social wellness, and emotional wellbeing of all residents. Family members are welcome to join resident dining, participate in events, celebrate holidays and special life events, or simply enjoy time together in the community's shared spaces.
Many families appreciate being part of the community experience, and we encourage family activities whenever possible.
